L.Vida Baby Orange and Aqua Green

Hi!

I am back with more reviews from Nail Art SG polishes!

This time it is from another range of polishes that NailArtSG is carrying, L.Vida. This is another range of products from the land of Korea! In the NailArtSG site, you would be able to find this range under the "PRO Nail Polish" section The products used to made this L.Vida polishes are all eco-friendly! They are 3-Free polishes and they are able to last long on your nails due to the strong color formulation!

Today, I have 2 cremes to show you all!

First we have, Baby Orange (LC18). This is a yellowy-orange polish! Think of an orange fruit that is on the process of becoming ripe! Just like this orange here!

There is definitely more time for allow the fruit to ripen before you cut it open and eat it to enjoy a sweet fruit! Well, that is unless you like sour oranges!

So, this is how the polish looks like in real life!

This is 2 coats of Baby Orange with basecoat and topcoat! It is fairly opqaue, however it would still require 2 coats for full opacity! You would not want to have an uneven color, would you? Haha!

Next, it is Aqua Green (LC24).

Well, honestly I am not really a "green" type of girl. However, I have got to say, this polish is amazing! It has definitely changed my opinion on green polishes! Just take a look at its beauty!

What is your take on this green polish? I really love this color! In fact, this polish has changed my opinion about green polishes!

The consistency for this range of polish is extremely smooth, I did not have no problems trying to apply the polish on my nails! I would say that it is the same consistency as the Vidanails, so if you would have tried the Vidanails series from my previous review of Creamy Grape and Blue Marine, you can totally expect the same type of quality from the series of polishes Nail Art SG carries. The owner actually goes out to try each product by herself to ensure the quality is of an extremely good quality! So, you would definitely have to try them out!

I am impressed with the entire range of L.vida polishes! I love the choices of color they have as well as the way they carefully package each polish to have a flower attached to the stem of the bottle.

Be sure to grab your very own L.vida range of polishes! So good to use, yet at a really affordable cost! You would not want to miss them out! :D

Nailies: Daisy Nails

Hi!

I have trying to find my way back to the nail art regime, however I haven't been able to found the motivation to do so. However, after talking to my Nailies (you'll know what the term refers to, and who is involved soon), they started up a colloaboration of us painting the same nail art pattern! This month of September, it is Daisy Nails

So, what are Nailies and who exactly is involved? Nailies is currently a group of 12 ladies from Singapore who are all into painting their nails and doing nail art designs! It involves the following people:

2) Priscilla from Pobbynails, Instagram, Facebook
3) Karise from Nailbykarise, Instagram, Facebook
4) Zenna from TheManicuredMissy
5) Sandra from Beefette
6)Shili from Sushinails
7) Audree from Ohdreenails
8)Janice from Manukamelts
9) Karen from Pinkpixiepie
10) Kathy from Jellicklekat88

and our most recent addition to our family,
11) Kimberlyn from Nailmachine, Instagram

Not forgetting the inclusion of me too! :D

So this was how our final product came to be like!

The lovely Priscilla helped us to make our collage that you see here! :D

This is a close up shot of the nails I did!

I chose to do a brown base using OPI's Wooden Shoe Good To Know as I was in a brown mood that night! Then I went on to add some handpainted daisies using acrylic paint. I had actually opted for a light blue centre however I left that the contrast wasn't as to my liking so I opted for a glitter placement using the Girly Bits polish that I had on my accent nail! The Girly Bits polish is Eight Crazy Nights! This was given to me from Nicole! It is absolutely gorgeous especially since I have such a love for anything polish that is blue!

I have to admit, my daisies isn't very nice as compared to my fellow nailies, however I am on the road to improvement! I hope :x

Going to try and do more nail art design and slowly brush up my skills! Especially since I am working now, I have my nights to spend some time on pampering myself!

That's all for now!

I will be back posting more reviews and nail art that I have done! :D Hope you would stay tuned! (:

Resinail Lacquer Urban Glitz & Fizzy Grape

[Sent for review]

Hi!

Here is a review of a fairly new Australian indie polish brand to me, Resinail Lacquer. I was delighted to be able to help the lovely Michelle with the review of her gorgeous looking polishes! Michelle's handmade 5-free polishes (Toluene, Formaldehyde, TSF resin, Camphor and DBP free). She uses high quality suspension base, tinters, pigments, and solvent resistant glitter for her products. She also sells various nail care products such as cuticle oil for purchase.

I was given 3 polishes to review, unfortunately one amazing gold glitter, Pineapple Prize had died on its way here. However, on the bright side of things, I do have 2 other polishes to show you! :D

Firstly, it is a gorgeous silver mini glitter polish with a larger hexagons in them. It is called Urban Glitz. These are some swatches of this gorgeous polish!

Jior Couture's #JiorNailsAndDrink Summer 2014 Collection

[Press Kit]
Hello! :D

It has been a really long while since I last blogged. I am currently in the midst of having all my project and also with exams coming up really soon! I have been wanting to do my nails with all the nail art ideas, however I could never find the time to do so. However, I will be coming back in September with all those for you!

Well today, I am back here to show you this amazing Summer'14 Collection from Jior Couture. They released #JiorNailsAndDrink collection on 28 June 2014.

The collection consists of photochromic, shimmer, fluorescent, and glow in the dark nail polishes. There will be 6 colors/'flavors for the collection. Namely, Orange-Mango, Purple-Mixed Berry, Red-Raspberry, Yellow-Pineapple, Green-Green Apple, Blue-Blueberry. Each color/'flavor' will have 4 drink inspired lacquers each. Every 15ml bottle will come with a recipe card for it's insprired drink! Although, the lacquers will not be scented but each color/'flavor' group will have a scented top coat.

How cool is that! The maker, Sacha has put in great efforts into creating this huge summer collection for you to enjoy!

I am here today, to show you the gorgeous colors that they sent me!

First up, I have Raspberry Smoothie. "A red with red and gold shimmer. It is a photochromic polishes, a polish that will darken under sunlight." It has a pinky base with strong shimmers in it.

As seen, it is 2 base colors of white from Essie and 2 coats of Raspberry Smoothie.

Isn't it stunning? This topper will add onto the aesthetic feel of your plain base color, and within 1 coat you have a transformed manicure! It has a really girly feel once you applied this topper! :D

Then, we have Blueberry Shake. It is a fluorescent blue polish. It's thin opacity would make Bluberry Shake a jelly polish.

Here, we have 3 coats of Blueberry Shake with no base color.

I really love this blue polish that Sacha has made. Maybe because I am a blue polish lover, however I have many thoughts on how to style this mani up! Just by using nail vinyls could transform this whole look! I chose to use golden studs as this color reminded me of my blouse I wore recently! :D

Do you like the two colors I have showed you?

These are all avaliable on Jior Couture's website! If you checked her Instagram out, you would have known that she is currently running a 15% off entire orders from now till 6 July 2015 @11:59:59 pm EST. Be sure to grab them all! They have many more amazing colors for you to buy for all sorts of occassions!

Thats all for now, I have got to get back to studying! I hope you enjoyed this review!

Chanel's #461 Blue Satin

Hi!

Not sure if you had reaslised but recently, my polish haul has all been Chanel!

Today, I have some swatches of my first ever Chanel nail polish I scored! :D It is none other than #461, Blue Satin. I bought this polish from a Carousell user for $18SGD, although she said it was brand new, however, the bottle isn't full and had signs that they have been used before. The bottle ain't in the most ideal shape though. It has numerous scratches around them and also the wordings on the bottle seems to have been colored. Despite all those, getting a 95% full bottle for $18 does seem quite worth it as the polish color is gorgeous!

Blue Satin came out January 2008, however 2011 it was released due to popular demand! Many of Chanel's color would be release as a limited edition, however some popular do make their way back again! This is just one lovely example!

However, when the polish indoors is like an ordinary navy blue polish.
Chanel #461 Blue Satin (Indoors)

Blue Satin is a dark blue polish with hints of shimmer when seen under the sun. It is extremely opaque as I only needed 1 coat to achieve such a look! However, this opacity is only for such a creamy color! The bottle had a thin brush as seen in every other Chanel bottle.

Isn't Blue Satin such a beauty? It is dark like how a person can be quiet, yet when under the right condition, you can see it's sparkle in the right angle. I guess this just really appeals to me, as I believe that no person can be dull or uninteresting. It just takes the right occasion or right person to see that shine and potential in another. So, if you have been quiet and wanting to shine, don't bother about what other has to say, just shine! You may be shy, but your shine will dazzle those who sees you!

I will be slowly posting the different Chanel colors as and when I have time to swatch them! However, I already have Gold Fingers prepared so do keep an eye out! ;)

Hi!

If you saw my instagram, you would have known that I won a giveaway held by Colorsutraa! It was her Day 11 giveaway!  I am rather lucky when I enter Colorsutraa's giveaway! Previously, I won her 1500 Likes Giveaway! Kirstin, the maker of Northern Star Polish did not contacted me prior receiving the package at home!

Blue Gradient Stamping

Hello!

Not sure if you had noticed, but I havent been stamping for a while. So today, I decided to do a blue (my favourite color) gradient stamping! I used a Bundle Monster Stamping Plate, BM315!

This was what I had come up with! :D

BM315 on a Blue Gradient
BM315 on a Blue Gradient

BM315 on a Blue Gradient
BM315 on a Blue Gradient

The colors I used for this was Essie's Blanc, Nicole by OPI's Its Up To You & Respect The World! Along with black and white Konad's stamping polish!

I really enjoy stamping as it is a quick and easy way to get some nail art done! However, you must remember to stamp when your nail is completely dried! With that said, I will be having some nail art coming up on my blog! It is mostly for a cause or for a Facebook group challenge that I am in! So do stay tuned! :D

Want to know how to stamp properly? Check out the Stamping tutorial I did some time back!

Thats all for now! See you soon! :D

Stained Glass Nail Art

Well, hello there!

Today, I will be posting about the first ever nail art I have done in a really long while. This is a twin manicure that I did up with my nail mail buddy Narmai, from PiggieLuv! Do check out her blog and show her some of your support!

She let me choose the design since I am a newbie to nail art. I decided to do stained glass as I was inspired by the twin nails done up by Just1nail & Paintedpolishbylexi . From there, I went on to google for stained glass designs. My younger sister helped me search too, and she really liked the stained glass heart nails done by Kay (@twentysixnails) hence, the mix of both. Kay was inspired by another lady, IG @dressedupnails.

This is our twin mani that we had done up!
